These things smart people do on weekends

If you think weekend is only for browsing internet and watching television whole day,you are wrong. If you thing it’s only about visiting a restaurant or bar you are wrong again. But it is the when we are not under pressure to wake up early.

It is the time to do what we like. Some people like to discuss their family issues and sort them out. Some people make plans for upcoming week, here I’d like to mention few things effective people do on weekends.

  1. Learn new things: If you could not find some time to exercise or practice yoga, weekend is the right time to do these things. You could join in yoga class that are running on Saturdays or Sundays,If you are a martial artist lover, enroll yourself to a martial-artist class.
  2. Discussions with family members or friends: I think weekend is the perfect time to sit with your family members and discuss issues pertaining to them. You may discuss your goals with them.
  3. Social work: If you want to do volunteer for some organisation, weekend is the right time to do.You can teach kids for free, this can provide an opportunity for children’s to learn new things.
  4. Spend less time on Internet: We may spend a lot of time on internet,If you cut down on this time, you make some time for yourself,it can be used to spend with your family members. So let’s ask your family members to minimize the time spending on Laptops or Smart phones during weekends.
  5. Make a plan for upcoming week: Smart people make plans in advance. You just find some time to make next week plans, like where to go and what to do.

These Questions Help You Beat Procrastination

Procrastination is a worst habit, but we don’t put things off, because we are lazy.We know that procrastinate means to delay doing something that you should do,

there are different reasons that we procrastinate, and these questions may help you to figure it out,so you can beat it.

Procrastination can teach us a lot about the way we work, and it changes work flow,so one should ask themselves the following questions, you can get grip on why, exactly you keep stop doing something.

  1. What are the long term benefits of the task I am keep delaying?
  2. Can I do without those benefits?
  3. Can I achieve those benefits by doing some other work?
  4. Can I replace those benefits equally valued benefits that are achieving by some other way?
  5. Can I delegate the activity and receive the same benefits?
If you answer yes to any of 2-5,so you need eliminating the task from your life and getting benefits some other way.Of course sometimes you  may try to get rid of work that is distracting from your task, but ask yourself above questions to beat procrastination.

A book for vocabulary

Howdy! buddies. Having a superior vocabulary is a great thing. It takes dedication and time to build.
While I was reading I came across a book. That is “Word Power Made Easy” by Norman Lewis. This book is going to help us to build a higher range of vocabulary. It doesn’t matter what’s your current vocabulary range. This book follows an etymological approach. i.e.. Root words. This book says that instead of memorizing the words learn root words. If you know One root word, you may learn Ten or more words. Let me give an example,For instance take a word Psych. Here Psych refers that it is related to soul. You can learn,Psychiatrist,Psychopath,Psychometric, etc. by using this root.Once if you know a range of words, just use them in your regular communication.Vocabulary may boost our confidence to write/speak in English. It may be helpful to win in an exam. I am sure that this book help us to build an extreme vocabulary .

It may cost around Rs.130/-. You can buy it from a stationery shop or at an online store.

Thanks for being here.Have fun!
